Q: What are your contract or rider requirements?

A:  Many deejays and bands have riders (things in a contract that are required in addition to the fee you pay your entertainer).  Most of these riders can include specific meal requirements, additional room & board requirements, dressing room requirements, etc.  

     I don't require any of these unnecessary "add-ons" that can secretly tack on hundreds of dollars to your event price.  The only requirements I do have in my contract are:  1-8' foot table, or 2-6' tables (preferably covered and skirted), access to 110AC power (please keep this in mind for outdoor events), coverage by a tent or other sturdy enclosure (for outdoor events), and soda or drinking water (I never drink alcohol on the job).  A vendor meal is appreciated, but not required.
